U.S. Navy veteran Robert Reynolds served in Vietnam from late '66 to early '69.  Most of his time was spent providing physical security for Navy operations in the city of Da Nang.  Upon completing his tour (extended twice), and being honorably discharged, he returned to Vietnam in late '69 and worked as a civilian until mid '73.  In 2003, he retired after a 30-yr career in retail loss prevention with the Army & Air Force Exchange System, retiring as Chief, Security Operations.  He currently has five novels to his credit:  Firing at Shadows; A Perilous Place; Settler; East of Nowhere; and his latest, Sentinels in the Sun--a sequel to his first novel about Navy security forces in Da Nang.  Cover photos and story summaries can be found on his publisher's website, publishamerica.com, and on the websites for many of the major online booksellers.

He is a graduate of Gladwin High School (Michigan) and Cameron University (Oklahoma).   He and his wife of 40-yrs reside in Texas.
